The Liberal Democrats exist to build and safeguard a fair, free and open society, in which we seek to balance the fundamental values of liberty, equality and community and in which no-one shall be enslaved by poverty, ignorance or conformity.

The Liberal Democrats are a membership party. Our party conference decides policy and our elected committees run the party.

The Executive Committee is responsbile for the management of Bath Liberal Democrats. The body is elected every year at the AGM. The current committee were elected in December 2009.
