Cllr Cherry Beath

Cllr Cherry Beath

Cherry lives in Foxhill with her husband and two sons. She previously worked as a Probation officer. She later worked for a local church setting up community initiatives in Combe Down. She has also been self-employed, and is active with several charities in Bath.

Cherry has served as local Councillor for Combe Down since 2007, she is persistent in working to meet the needs of residents and in seeking improvements in the area.

Cherry is particularly pleased to have helped to achieve a number of traffic safety improvements, like the Foxhill 20 mph speed limits, the pedestrian crossing on Bradford Road, zig zags outside the school and safety signage in Tyning Road.

Cherry sits on the Enterprise and Economic Development overview and scrutiny panel, which includes Major Projects, and is a keen supporter of Combe Down local shops and businesses. She is Member Champion for Bio-Diversity and is keen to see Combe Down's green spaces preserved and enhanced. She is delighted to have initiated the project to plant fruit trees and edible shrubs in Foxhill.

If you are a resident of the Bath constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
