Cllr Marian McNeir, local ward Cllr, attended the Opening Ceremony of the new Three Ways Special School today.

Cllr McNeir commented:

"This is a wonderful moment, a dream come true, for the Head Teacher and Staff and of course for the parents and children. The school provides a marvellous teaching and learning environment in which the children will blossom and grow both in confidence and fulfillment.

I would also like to pay tribute to local residents who have lived with a building site on their doorstep for many months and have borne the inconvenience with great fortitude. I hope they will be invited into the school to see just what it means to the pupils to have such a beautiful and safe environment."
