Councillor Tim Ball has been serving as Twerton’s voice on the council since 1991. As councillor, he has challenged the council on bettering their policies on a vast number of issues. For instance, Tim was able to persuade the council to introduce improved housing standards and restrictions on HMO’s and convince the council to update its autism policies. Tim cares about the wellbeing of the youth and education policy, and pursued funding for a new nursery at the Twerton Infant school, as well as attaining funding for the refitting of windows at St. Michaels Junior School. His campaign also included the retention of secondary education in the south west areas of Bath. Through meeting with the residents he represents, he has handled hundreds of pieces of casework, and was able to update all Twerton parks, including Innox Park, and has campaigned for road improvements in Twerton. Through his fierce dedication to his work, Tim is a dedicated community member. In the past, Tim has worked in the industrial and distribution sector, as well as serving as a Bath City and Avon County Councillor. Tim is married to Sharon; together, they have five children and thirteen grandchildren.
